Ian’s passion and career has always been within DTC and eCommerce. He is constantly energized by eCommerce’s balance of commercial and creative thinking. This perfectly primes himself as an effective personalization program manager and advocate in his organization and within the industry. As part of the business development team for the DTC eCommerce channel at Nespresso US, Ian Bennett is the Digital Commerce Optimization Lead. His current domain is driving the strategic path for onsite personalization, the product owner for Nespresso’s front end tools, and the machine category sales manager.

Ori has 20+ years of executive experience in both startups and large global corporations. Prior to joining Dynamic Yield, he was the Founder & CEO of Glean Health, an innovative, digital health data startup. Ori’s deep business acumen is strengthened by an extensive technology background, and over the course of his career he has led product and engineering at three startups that were acquired: Storwize (acquired by IBM), Algotec (acquired by Eastman Kodak) and most recently Dynamic Yield (acquired by McDonald’s and then Mastercard). Today, he operates as the personalisation platform’s CEO, responsible for driving the next chapter of Dynamic Yield’s growth.

In part 1, context for the problem at hand will be provided and you’ll break into teams to generate as many ideas as possible and then decide which one has the most potential to solve the problem.

This is a hand-on workshop where you will collaborate with your peers to tackle real problems and craft innovative solutions. Leave with genuine insight, practical tips, and fresh strategic ideas to elevate your personalization programs.

In part 2, you’ll return to your respective teams and create a mockup of the chosen solution in part 1 using the materials provided. Once completed, each team will have 3 minutes to present their solution to the larger workshop group as well as a panel of judges who will pick a winning solution.

Founded in 2016, Naked Cashmere is a luxury brand selling cruelty-free cashmere products at a fair market rate. With a longer decision-making process for consumers that comes with the territory for luxury products, the small but innovative team invested in Dynamic Yield to optimize the website, building consumer confidence and encouraging visitors through the funnel. Today Celia Mulderrig, VP of eCommerce, will discuss some of their learnings and share how she keeps the team data-driven, connecting key tests back to strategic internal questions to ensure value for both the customer and the team.
